AI Video Models: Resolution, Quality & Pricing

Every AI video model is good at something different. This page lists the video, image, lip sync and audio models you can use in Cinemachina, with their resolution, clip length, input modes, our quality rating and current pricing, so you can pick the right model for each shot.

Pricing and capabilities change often. We update this page regularly; check the Last updated date before budgeting. For how to choose between models, read how to choose the right AI video model for each shot. For how model pricing turns into a real budget, read how much it costs to make an AI movie.

How we rate quality

Our quality rating is a 1–5 score from hands-on testing in real Cinemachina productions, not a provider benchmark. Each model is scored on:

  • Motion: natural movement, physics, camera moves
  • Character performance: faces, expressions, subtle acting
  • Prompt adherence: does it do what the video direction asks
  • Image-to-video fidelity: does the clip stay true to the approved storyboard frame
  • Consistency: does the character still look like the character by the end of the clip

A model can score lower overall and still be the best choice for a specific kind of shot. The Best for column is often more useful than the rating.

How to read the pricing

Prices are what a single generation costs at the stated resolution and length, converted to USD where needed. Remember that cost per generation is not cost per usable shot: most shots take more than one attempt. See how much it costs to make an AI movie for how to budget with that in mind.

FAQ

Which AI video model is best for filmmaking?

There isn't one. Some models handle big motion well, others are better at subtle facial performance, longer clips or following the start frame closely. Choose per shot using the Best for column above.

Why do AI video model prices change so often?

Providers release new versions and adjust pricing frequently. That's why this page is maintained as a live table and dated.

Can I use more than one model in the same film?

Yes. Cinemachina lets you choose the model per shot, so one film can use several providers.
